Artic cat snow bike, where is the best place to buy a snow bike?

I have a cat that rides a snow bike like a cat on wheels, he will jump into a snow bank and get right on, he loves it I would love to get a better bike for him, any ideas? I was thinking something with a better handle bar and the snow bike is a great idea I am looking for a better handle bar for a 2 wheel bike, that is the only thing I have heard about, what do you guys think?

I have seen a snowboard with a metal frame and a little seat, but it was a lot of money.

I've looked at snow bikes and have seen them with 3 wheels. The snow bikes I've seen were all in poor shape.

I have a snow bike and it is a great bike, not for beginners but a great bike for snow biking. You can get snow bikes for about $300 on amazon.com. The one I have has a steel frame and steel rims. You can get any number of wheels and tires.

I think most snow bikes are like you described.

A cheaper way to get a 2-wheel bike for the snow would be to find someone who will let you take their snow bike on a trailer (or have it tow you) to get you where you need to go, then just go up to a rental agency, rent a bike, and return the old one.

I would recommend a used frame from the previous owner's house. Just don't go cheap, you want to make sure your bike is safe to ride on the snow, since it will not be as safe as a properly designed bike would be.

I've got a good one, it's a '97 Husqvarna 650 CC bike with a 6X5 rear wheel. Very good on snow with lots of traction. You can easily pull a sled. It was cheap and I can't recommend it enough. It's $400.

This may be a dumb question, but what does this cat do on a snow bike? Does it just lay on it like it were riding a snowboard or does it have to keep it in it's natural position like a snowboard?

As for the other two bikes, I can't really figure out what you mean when you say'mountain bike'. Are you talking about a cross country style mountain bike or just a regular bicycle with a fat tire?

I had a cat on wheels, he loved it. My daughter wanted to buy me one. The cat kept running away because he wanted to go play with the snow. But I liked the way he got on it. I would buy one for him now.

My cat loves snow bikes, even has his own little sled he sits on while riding.

I would go for a new used bike if you're on a budget.

You could always buy it used. The reason I say "don't go cheap" is because you want a bike that will be safe on snow. Also, you can get some pretty cheap used bikes on Amazon.

You can rent a sled too for under $10 bucks. I have a sled my cat and I use for snow boarding. You can also rent a bike, I use my old mountain bike for this. Also, your cat could help you build a bike for him for cheap. I would get him a cat bike and have him help you cut down the wood you need to make the handle bars and the rims. If he loves it then it would be a great bike for him.

This is a really hard one to answer because, as far as I know, there is no such thing as a snow bike in the snow.

If you mean a "snowboard", that's kind of what they're designed for. They have a long base and a raised back section, so the snow falls and hits the top of the board, the bottom rides on the ground and the board is designed to glide over the snow as fast as the cat can go.
